PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit without increasing the number of wirings even if the number of display elements is increased. SOLUTION: Data inputted to an input-output circuit 1 is divided into data for display and a parameter for setting and sent to a control circuit 2, the display character data is converted into a driver control signal based on display control data and sent to a display element driver 3, and this display unit for displaying display elements 4 that consists of plural digits realizes various functions by setting the circuit 2 to control content based on the command and data when a parameter for setting which consists of the command and data is inputted to the circuit 1. |
