PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cooling fluid in a cooler from being frozen. SOLUTION: Control means C controls operation such that based upon the degree of supercoolingΔT1 of a cooling fluid L' detected by a cooling fluid temperature detector 22 and saturation temperature Ts of a refrigerant corresponding to evaporation pressure detected by a pressure detector 6p, revolutions of a compressor 1 are temporarily lowered when the saturation temperature Ts reaches a preset lower limit in response to the degree of supercooling of the cooling fluid L'. As a result, the saturation temperature Ts(evaporation pressure) of the refrigerant is prevented from being further lowered than necessary in response to the degree of the supercoolingΔT1 of the cooling fluid L', and hence the cooling fluid L' in the supercooler 4 is prevented from being frozen. |
