PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting device for improving emitted intensity be reflecting light which is leaked from a light take-out surface in an opposite direction, including light which escapes from the gap at the upper edge of a lead frame. SOLUTION: In a light-emitting device, where a light-emitting element 1 with a transparent sapphire substrate 1a is mounted to connection seats 2b and 2c for continuity at p and n sides, divided by cutting a gap 2d at a reflection cup 2a of a mount part at the upper edge of a lead frame 2 and further sealing is made by an epoxy resin, including the light-emitting element 1, an auxiliary reflection part 4 is provided at least at the gap 2d, thus reflecting a light component which escapes from the gap 2d toward a light take-out surface side for collection. |
