PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the change of a variety of tones by increasing the kind of waveform to be interpolated without increasing the circuit constitution of the interpolation system when the interpolation is operated according to the toner change control parameter for the musical sound signal of a plurality of different waveform characteristics. SOLUTION: A waveform memory 16 storing the musical sound waveform data of M kinds (where, M is an integer of >=3) for each tone is provided, and the musical sound waveform data of N kinds (where, N is an integer to satisfy the inequalities of M>N>=2) is selected according to the toner change control parameter such as the touch data TD among the musical sound waveform data of M kinds corresponding to the selected tone, and read from the waveform memory 16. The read musical sound waveform data of N kinds is interpolated according to the tone change control parameter by an interpolation means 19 of N system and the result of interpolation is outputted as the musical sound signal. |
