PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply only a recording medium and an agent for making an image visualizable, without the futile discard of a main part having an image forming function and further, to recognize information on the recording medium and the agent for making the image visualizable, etc. SOLUTION: A supply cartridge 13 for housing a sheet like recording medium and the agent for making the image visualizable of a quantity corresponding to the number of the housed recording mediums is provided. The supply cartridge 13 is installed in an image forming device 1z to supply the recording medium and the agent for making the image visualizable to the image forming device 1. Thus, the main part having the image forming function remains in the image forming device l and only the recording medium and the agent for making the image visualizable as consumables can be supplied simultaneously. Further, an information storage part 42 for storing the information on the recording medium and the agent for making the image visualizables as to make the information freely updatable is provided. At the time of forming the image, the information on the recording medium and the agent for making the image visualizable, including a kind, storage, the date of manufacture, etc., can be effectively/practically used. |
