<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively avoid an image defect caused by discharge omission and irregularities in an image caused by the bounce of recording material on the upstream side of a transfer part even in the case of using the recording material having high surface resistance. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an image carrier 1 carrying a visible image by the use of electrifying color material, a transfer means 3 transferring the visible image on the image carrier 1 to the recording material 2, a recording material carrying means 4 carrying the recording material 2 to a transfer part between the transfer means 3 and the image carrier 1, and a recording material guiding means 5 provided in a carrying path between the carrying means 4 and the transfer part and regulating the rushing-in posture of the recording material 2 to the transfer part. The guiding means 5 is arranged on the side of the image carrier 1 and equipped with a movable guiding member 6 whose part on the downstream side in the carrying direction of the recording material 2 can be moved toward the image carrier 1. Furthermore, it is equipped with a stopper mechanism 7 regulating the moving range of the member 6 to the side of the image carrier 1.</p> |
