PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warning device to allow a worker to immediately recognize an interrupt of power supply or of signals due to mistake in work in the case of attaching equipment such as a distributor to a coaxial cable or the like. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a detecting and warning device 1 for detecting the presence/absence of an electric current or high frequency signals flowing in a lead wire or coaxial cable 3 and for transmitting a very high frequency signal, when there is no electric current or high frequency signal, and a receiver for operating a warning means by receiving a very high frequency signal transmitted from the detecting and warning device 1 at a position away from the detecting and warning device 1.
