PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, the height of which can be lowered for a board thickness of a printed board when mounting and which also has a stable construction against a load such as twisting applied when pulling out a female connector. SOLUTION: This connector is composed of a rectangular engagement member 16 to engage with a female or male connector, an external frame member 24 surrounding a periphery of the engagement member and a male or female type electric contact 30 in which a contact part 31 is fixed to the engagement member and a terminal part 32 formed at other end of the contact part is fixed to the external frame member, and the engagement member and the external member are integrally connected through a turnable connecting part of the male or female type electric contact, while the terminal part protrudes from the external member. |
