<p>In a composition for use in the manufacture of building materials the solid ingredients comprise, by weight, 20 to 40 parts of paper and/or wood pulp, 20 to 40 parts of cement, 5 to 15 parts of whiting and 5-15 parts of hydrated lime. Up to 15 parts by weight of river mud may also be present. A preferred composition comprises by weight 30 parts of paper or wood pulp, 40 parts cement, 10 parts whiting, 10 parts lime and 10 parts river mud. Building elements may be cast by methods normally used in making concrete.</p> |
