<p>Sodium silicate, sodium aluminate and sodium hydroxide are mixed together to produce a gel having the general formula: 2.5-7.5 Na2O, 2.2-3.0 SiO2, Al2O3, 80-250 H2O and a volume of more than 1.5 m<3>, no XRD detectable zeolite A being produced and no zeolite P being added, the product being eventually filtered, washed and dried. It is thus possible to produce on an industrial scale an alkali metal aluminosilicate of zeolite P type having the oxide formula: M2/nO, Al2O3, 2.0-2.66 SiO2, y H2O.</p> |
