An evaporator for evaporation of liquid effluents from domestic waste is new. The evaporator is heated by burning (2 and 3) biogas produced by the waste, or other fuels. Flue gases pass through ducts in the vessel walls (7), heating the liquid. Liquid level is monitored by a float (4), which also carries a temperature probe. |
