TONER MOTHER PARTICLE, TONER AND DEVELOPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrostatic charge image developing toner mother particles with which sharp and enough color reproducibility and color developing property can be obtd. when a full-colored image is formed by using a full-color copying machine or printer, and to provide a toner and a developer prepared by using the toner mother particles. SOLUTION: The toner mother particles are prepared in the following process. A pigment dispersion material prepared by preliminarily dispersing a pigment and a dispersant in a dispersion solvent is passed under 100 kg/cm<2> liquid pressure through a chamber equipped with only one passage having two varied-angle parts a, b with angles between >=45 deg. and <=135 deg. so that the effect of collision of the dispersion material on the varied-angle part wall in the passage and the effect of friction between the passage inner wall and the dispersion material reduce the particle size of the pigment than that of the pigment in the preliminarily dispersed state. The obtd. water-based paste of the pigment is kneaded and heated with a resin which is solid at normal temp., and then the water content is removed to obtain a resin-coated pigment. Then the pigment is kneaded and heated with a binder.
