<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet from being damaged when the jam processing of the retained sheet straddling over a paper ejection roller ejecting the sheet on which an image is formed and a pair of normally and reversely rotating rollers feeding the sheet to an inversion path for inverting the sheet is executed. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a device main body 1 incorporating an image forming means, a paper ejection unit D having a roller 21 or the like ejecting a sheet S to a paper ejection tray 20 through a paper ejection path, an inversion path 29 inverting the sheet S, a pair of normally and reversely rotating rollers 32 respectively provided at an opening and closing guide and the main body 1 in order to feed or draw out the sheet S with respect to the path 29 and switching means 23 and 26 provided at the unit D in order to switch the path to the paper ejection path or the inversion path 29. In such a case, the unit D is constituted so that it can be moved to an actuating position and a separating position with respect to the main body 1. Besides, the opening and closing guide is opened and closed and the respective rollers of the rotating rollers pair 32 are separated by interlocking with the movement of the unit D to the separating position.</p> |
