PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image visibility, by automatically adjusting image intensity at a suitable level of an image type in response to a display image changed. SOLUTION: A car navigation system 11 generally comprises an input part 13 having touch and operation switches for various kinds of manipulation required, a CDROM drive 15 for reading road information and others from CDROM, an intensity level controller 18 controls a LCD 17 an image intensity level in the LCD 17, a system main unit 19 having a car navigation functions, and various kinds of vehicle-mounted accessory control functions. As a result, displaying each image at an intensity level in response to each image reduces influence of reversed images and improves image visibility. |
