The invention relates to improvements made in a drive shaft for fluid flow valves, of the type comprising an integral body (1), forming the shaft (2) and the valve (3) which is traditionally spherical. The improvements contemplate a sensibly elongate form for the valve (3) relative to the axis of symmetry of the part (1), which provides a surface (4) which is not perfectly spherical, to form a better seat for the seal (5) situated in the valve body outlet pipe. The invention is applicable to fluid flow valves in general and is devised to prevent them from leaking.
