PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the synchronization restoration of signals arriving at a portable telephone receiver by refining an estimated value in a fine acquisition mode and guaranteeing the high-speed synchronization acquisition of small final fluctuations. SOLUTION: A synchronization packet included in transferred signals is detected, a clock phase is acquired in a coarse acquisition mode, the synchronization is acquired within 1/4 of the period of one symbol during the time, the estimated value is refined in the fine acquisition mode which is a primary phase synchronized loop operation and the high-speed synchronization acquisition of the small final fluctuatios is guaranteed. In this case, the acquisition device is provided with a first phase estimator 47 for absolute value ABS signals, the output is connected to the input of a fine mode estimator 48 and error signals eabs appear in the output. The acquisition device is provided with a second phase estimator 49 for SIGN signals, the output is connected to the input of the fine mode estimator 50, and the error signals esign appear in the output. |
