PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a situation that developer infiltrates in a bearing to cause failure in rotation and a situation that volatile organic solvent is vaporized and condensed into dew in the bearing so that grease is eluted to shorten a life. SOLUTION: An excess developer on a develping roller 1 is guided to a lower part by grooves 5a and 5b. Absorbers 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d are obtained by forming material, which is swollen by absorbing the volatile organic solvent regardless of a liquefied state and vaporized state, to be columnar on the roller 1 or a photoreceptor drum 4, are swollen by absorbing the atomized solvent and strongly come in contact with supporting bearings 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d. Since the absorbers 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d are formed on the shaft of the roller 1 or the drum 4, they slide on the bearings 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d by the rotation of the roller 1 or the drum 4 and are worn but they absorb the volatile organic solvent in the developer 7 and are swollen to keep contact therewith. |
