<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluid detecting device by which flow amount of a fluid can be detected with good accuracy, by a method wherein, whether the mechanical flow-rate detection means is in an abnormal operating state or based or not is discriminated the deviation between a detection flow rate by mechanical flow-rate detection means and that by an electrical flow-rate detection means. SOLUTION: In a water passage amount sensor 7, a rotating blade is turned by a flow in a water introduction conduit 5, a pulse signal from a Hall element according to its speed of rotation is counted, and a water passage amount is detected. A control part H electrifies an introduced water temperature thermistor 8 so as to be self-heated, and an ambient temperature is detected on the basis of its temperature change. It stops the supply of electric power after the introduced water temperature thrmistor 8 is raised up to a set temperature, and an electrical flow-rate detection means Hb discriminates a flow rate on the basis of a temperature change due to the elapse of its time. When the absolute value of the deviation between its value the detection flow rate of the water flow passage amount sensor 7 is less than a set value, the operation of the water passage amount sensor 7 is judged to be normal, and its detection value is used. When the absolute value is at the set value or higher, the water passage amount sensor 7 is judged to be abnormal, a warning lamp 18 is operated, and an alternative burning control operation is executed by the detection value of the electrical flow-rate detection means Hb.</p> |
