<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrostatic charge image developing toner having good offset property, fixing property, blocking resistance (aggregation resistance) during storage and developing property in a image forming process and little odor by mixing a resin soln. and a sludge of a resin emulsion dispersion liquid under specified conditions and further removing the water content. SOLUTION: The producing method of a binder resin for electrostatic charge image developing toner includes the following processes. A resin soln. and a sludge of a resin emulsion dispersion liquid are mixed, while or after that, the water content and the solvent are removed from the mixture to prepare a solvent-free resin mixture compsn. In this method, it is preferable that the solvent in the resin soln. has 6 to 12 SP value and that the resin soln. is obtd. by soln. polymn. Moreover, the resin emulsion dispersion liquid is preferably an emulsion dispersion liquid of a polymer obtd. by emulsion polymn., and the sludge of the resin emulsion dispersion liquid is preferably obtd. by salting out an emulsion dispersion liquid of a polymer produced by emulsion polymn.</p> |
