The use of a compound of the formula: - (2S,3 S)-3-(2-methoxy-5-trifluoromethoxybenzyl)amino-2-phenylpiperidine; (2S,3 S)-N-(5-tert-butyl-2-methoxyphenyl)methyl-2-diphenylmethyl-1-azabicycl o-Ä2.2.2Üoctan-3-amine; or (2S,3 S)-N-(5-isopropyl-2-methoxyphenyl)methyl-2-diphenylmethyl-1-azabicyclo -Ä2.2.2Üoctan-3-amine; or of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of one of the foregoing compounds, for the manufacture of a medicament for preventing or treating delayed emesis in a mammal.
