PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for storing a cable-core connecting portion, wherein the work for connecting cable-cores with each other can be performed easily even when a working space in a pipe shaft is narrow. SOLUTION: A box for storing a cable-core connecting portion has a board 1 for fastening the box to a wall, etc., a supporter 3 for supporting thereby the cable-core connecting portion, and a box type cover 5 for engaging the skirt portion of its peripheral wall with the periphery of the board 1. A protruding piece 19 is formed in one side of the board 1, and a clamping piece 21 with its bent end portion 21a is formed in the parallel side of the board 1 with the foregoing one side. Meanwhile, there is formed in the cover 5 a slot 29 for inserting thereinto the protruding piece 19, and there is attached to the inside of the cover 5 a locking piece 33 for clinching it with the end portion 21a of the clamping piece 21 or separating it from the end portion 21a by an external operation. As a result, removing the cover 5 and supporter 3 from the board 1, the work for connecting cable-cores with each other is made possible. |
