PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying device furnished with excellent availability of appropriately erasing a filing section and the frame section of a book type original in accordance with a specification by an operator. SOLUTION: This copying device is allowed to automatically detect the size of the original being set on a scanner, and to let a respective set/selecting of select/specifying operation of the center erase/frame erasing on the operation displaying section by the operator store in a parameter memory. When the center erasing and the frame erasing is respectively selected, and if the erasing reference is the original reference, the frame position of the original and the center position of the original is determined, the vertical erasing position and the horizontal erasing position is respectively set by determining the vertical erasing position and the horizontal erasing position on the original, and in the case of the recording paper reference, the vertical erasing position and the horizontal erasing position is respectively set by determining the frame position of the recording paper and the center position of the recording paper. Moreover, when variable power of the image on the original is specified, in accordance with the selection by the operation display section whether the respective erasing width of the frame section and the center section is also varied, by determine/setting the erasing position for varying or unvarying, performing read-out processing of the original, the center erasing or the frame erasing, in accordance with the above setting, and allowed to record on the recording paper by a plotter. |
