<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet-type semiconductor memory device by which a time required for a current adjustment stage can be reduced and a time required for initialization of a chip can be reduced. SOLUTION: An address register 305 which holds an ID address indicating the ID of a packet-type semiconductor memory device, output drivers 309 which drive respective pads in response to corresponding output bits (A1, etc.), in the address register 305 and current control bits ICTR, a multiplexer 311 which selects one of the outputs of the output drivers 309 in response to the output bit of the address register 305 and a current control circuit 313 to which the output of the multiplexer 311 and a voltage applied to a reference pad 315 are inputted and which outputs the current control bit ICTR in response to a current control enable signal CCE are provided. With this arrangement, in each semiconductor memory device, the current of the output driver 309 of the pad corresponding to the proper ID address held in its address register 305 is adjusted to adjust the currents of the output drivers 309 in all the semiconductor devices simultaneously.</p> |
