A vitrifiable transfer consists of a combination of a temporary support sheet (10), a layer (14) of overprint varnish sublimable with heat deposited on the support sheet, an image layer (16) composed of at least fusible colour, deposited on the varnish layer, an adhesive layer (18), sublimable with heat, of a pressure sensitive and permanent type, deposited on the image layer, a detachable protection sheet (20) applied over the adhesive layer. Also claimed is the application method.
