A pillow is provided having an open cell or "fishnet" cover (2) filled with a plurality of discrete hollow elements or pellets (14, 20) made of a plastic containing a microbicide. Each plastic element can include an aperture (16, 22) passing therethrough. The aperture or throughbore (16, 22) provides ventilation through and within the pillow. The pillow is easy to clean, does not absorb moisture, dust, dust mites, and is impervious to fungus, bacteria, mold, mildew, viruses, and the like. |
