摘要 Horizontal transfer occurs sideways from one vehicle to another. The load bearing implements located in the middle can thus be removed or substituted. The driven or non-driven transfer device (1) bridges the gap between two adjacent motor vehicles (2). It lifts (3.1) the load bearing implements to the required height to enable transfer (4). The load bearing implement (7) has its own rolling properties (2.1). These are used by the device is such a way that said device is much smaller, lighter and on the whole cheaper to produce than systems that are known per se. The inventive device provides an economically viable logistical approach to average loads ranging from 1.5 - 5 tons. Such a degree of economic viability is new, even today. A simple version exists for vehicles (2). This enables distribution of merchandise, for instance, between 2 vehicles in transit without requiring a fixed ramp (2.2). This results in enormous cost savings. Easily displaceable, intermediate drop-off surfaces and transversal corridors for larger installations also have a positive effect. Kits for surface handling equipment known per se and a special elevation/traction vehicle increase flexibility and the range of applicability of the inventive system.
