摘要 A scintillator array (56) is optically coupled to the photodiode (60) array. Preferred features: Both arrays, i.e. of scintillators and photodiodes, are 16 x 16 arrays. A switching array (68) connected with the outputs (76) of the photodiode array comprises field effect transistors (FETs). Each FET is wired to an output. Photodiode and switching arrays are formed on a substrate. A decoder (72) is connected to the switch. This controls switching, to connect output configurations in accordance with preselected numbers of sections and section thickness. A number of sectioning or scanning modes are controlled in this way. The corresponding data acquisition module, based on numbers of the foregoing array, is also described; such modules are assembled together as part of the wider multi-section measurement module, which includes a collimator array. The back plane circuit board and flexible connections are detailed. Silver-impregnated, silicone rubber layer conductors or gold-plated nickel or brass conductors are employed in a flexible connecting device.
