FIELD: agriculture and ornamental horticulture, in particular, protection of plants from injurious insects. SUBSTANCE: trap has flat paper base with at least one yellow-colored cover on each side having color characteristic within wave length range of 571-586 micron and reflection coefficient of up to 80%, and at least one blue cover on each side with color characteristic within wave length range of 440-460 micron and reflection coefficient of up to 75%. Both colored covers are coated with spirit lacquer and entomological transparent adhesive, with lacquer and adhesive having been applied in succession. Lacquer used for manufacture of trap is 96%-hydrolytic spirit which is applied in two layers, and adhesive may be glue of Lypofix type. Yellow and blue colors are applied in the form of alternative strips. EFFECT: increased efficiency in insect catching and simplified construction. 3 cl, 2 tbl
