The invention relates to a tree support (1) comprising a leg (4), a receiving member (3) for said leg (2) arranged thereon, a detachable retaining device (5) with several retaining members (8) substantially arranged in a circle, a clamping device for pressing the retaining members (8) against the leg (4) of the trunk, and a cable traction device (6) with an actuator (7), wherein said cable traction device (6) has two cables (9, 10) whose ends face the actuator (7) and are secured to a power receiving device (13) which is arranged in a substantially opposite position to the actuator (7). The cable arrangement (9, 10) interacts with the actuator (7) to form a clamping device. |
