FIELD: production of furniture. SUBSTANCE: upholstered furniture conversion mechanism is adapted for changing position (folding) of attached part of furniture, which is drawn inside upon folding. Conversion mechanism has four-link member. Upper and lower links are secured on upper plank of attached part of furniture and on lower member of its casing, respectively. The links are pivotally connected by rotary levers, one of levers being spring-biased in direction counteracting folding of main part of furniture. Spring is mounted on finger. EFFECT: improved furniture folding and unfolding process and simplified construction. 2 dwg
