An emulsion of lipid containing a prostaglandin analogue of the formula (1): wherein R<1> is an alkanoyl group, R<2> is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, each of R<3> and R<4> is a hydrogen atom or a protective group for an alcohol, R<5> is an alkyl group which may have a substituent, and ---- is a single bond or a double bond.
