FIELD: remote control of oil and product pipeline valves. SUBSTANCE: actuator has electropneumatic control device, air-jet motor, reduction unit, manual stand-by mechanism, operating mechanism incorporating devices for regulating actuator shaft turning time as function of working medium pressure and load variation at controlled equipment, momentum maximum limiter coupled with device absorbing kinetic energy of actuator moving parts. Motor is provided with working-medium directional discharge system, changeable throttling members, and nozzles; reduction unit functions to vary gear ratio. Electropneumatic control device is integral part incorporating output shaft turning time regulating device and set of limit switches; electromagnets and reed relays are placed in common explosion-safe chamber; air distributors may be of two- or three-position design version.
