<p>Cleaning and deoxidizing aluminum surfaces can be accomplished simultaneously by contacting the surfaces with an aqueous liquid composition that contains as its cleaning active ingredients (i) alcohols and/or ether alcohols, (ii) alkaline builders, and (iii) alkali stable surfactants, and, optionally but preferably, also contains fluoride and chelating agents.</p> |
