<p>A material for electronic components which comprises a coating component, a filler incorporated into the resin component constituting the coating component, and an injurious insect repellent supported on the filler and which can form an injurious insect repellent film exhibiting repellency against injurious insects. Electronic components each comprising (a) an electronic element and (b) an injurious insect repellent layer formed on the surface of the element, the layer comprising a resin component, a filler incorporated into the resin component and an injurious insect repellent supported on the filler and exhibiting repellency against injurious insects; and a process for the production of the same. The amount of the injurious insect repellent to be added to the material for electronic components can be much decreased with a remarkable improvement in the reliability of electronic equipment.</p> |
