<p>For preventing capsizal or providing trimming of a ship (1) it is equipped with tubing systems (17-19) for transferring water accidentally gathered on decks (4-6) at a higher level in the ship back to the sea as well as down to bottom tanks (15, 16) and/or basins (22) in the lowest part of the ship. The water is transferred in a controlled way between bottom tanks, specially divided and disposed for the purpose, and existing or created basins above the bottom tanks in order to right the ship from a heeling or to change its trim.</p> |
