PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for applying a multiple-layered protective coating and a decorative coating on an article. SOLUTION: A method includes a first stage to applying at least one coating layer by the electric plating. An electrically plated article is taken out of an electrically plating bath, and a pulse-blow drying method is applied so as to achieve the drying without generating any liquid drip dots. Then, the dried electrically-plated article is placed in a vapor deposition chamber, and the vapor deposition is achieved on the coating of the electrically plated article through the vapor deposition where at least one coating layer is separable.
