<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aq. ink compsn. for ink jet recording which does not clog an ink delivery nozzle, exhibits good delivery stability and delivery response, provides high-quality prints, and is excellent in long-storage stabilty by using a specific alkylenebismelamine deriv. as a white pigment. SOLUTION: An alkylenebismelamine deriv. of the formula [wherein R<1> , R<2> , R<3> , R<4> , R<7> , R<8> R<9> and R<10> are each independently H or 1-4C alkyl provided R<1> may combine with R<2> to form, together with a nitrogen atom, a heterocyclic group and so may R<3> with R<4> , R<7> with R<8> , and R<9> with R<10> ; R<5> and R<6> are each independently H, 1-4C alkyl, or an alicyclic group; and A is 2-3C alkylene] is used as an org. white pigment. Pref., the content of the deriv. in the aq. ink compsn. is 15-35 wt.% (based on the total amt. of the compsn.) and the average particle size of the deriv. is 0.2-0.4μm. An ammonium salt of a water- soluble resin is used as a resin for dispersing the pigment.</p> |
