PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anti-HBV agent useful for treatment or prevention of infectious diseases caused by hepatitis B virus(HBV) by including new purinenucleoside analogues containing an unsaturated cyclic hydrocarbon instead of sugar part as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This anti-HBV agent contains a compound of formula I (R<1> is a group of formula II, formula III or the like; R<3> is hydrogen, amino or the like; R<7> is hydrogen, a 1-6C alkyl or the like; R<8> is a 3-7C cycloalkyl) or its salt together with a carrier. (±)-cis-4-(2-Amino-6-(cyclopropylamino)-9H- purin-9-y1)-2-cyclopentene-1-methano1 or the like is preferable as the compound of formula I. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula IV (Z is a halo group) with an alkali metal and an alcohol in an organic solvent. The compound of formula I is preferably administered at a dose of 50-200 mg. Furthermore, the compound of formula I is useful also for infection, prevention or the like of retrovirus. |
