PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply obtaining a good design surface by correcting a shape of a contraction deformed portion of a molding in which the contraction deformation called a shrink or sag occurs. SOLUTION: The method for correcting a shape of a molding comprises the steps of disposing a contraction deformed portion 41 of the molding 40 made of a thermoplastic resin in a correcting mold 20, forcing a heated pressing member 31 from a rear surface 42 side of the portion 41 into a resin P of the portion 41 to melt the resin P around the member 31, moving the molten resin P out of the portion 41 to dispose a design surface 43 side of the portion 41 along a mold surface 32 of the mold 20, then drawing the member 31 from the rear surface 42 of the portion 41, and cooling the portion 41. |
