PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a fermentation for lactic acid needless to remove cell bodies by using a membrane separation, centrifugal separation or the like before an electrodialysis from a culture medium and capable of causing no fouling on an electrodialysis membrane. SOLUTION: This method is conducted by introducing lactic acid produced by a lactic acid fermenting apparatus 11 using a fermentable microorganism for lactic acid belonging to the genus Rhizopus into a bipolar membrane electrolytic apparatus 31 with a two-chamber system comprising a bipolar membrane BP and an anior-exchange membrane A and removing the resultant product from the system one after another.
