PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently, industrially and advantageously produce 2'-deoxyadenosine and 2'-deoxyguanosine used as raw materials for medicaments such as antiviral agents, especially for anti-sense medicaments which especially become the topic of talks recently. SOLUTION: This production of the subject compounds is to (1) produce 2'-deoxyradenosine from deoxyribose-1-phosphoric acid or its salt and adenine, adenosine or 5'-adenylic acid by the action of microorganisms, (2) produce 2'-deoxyadenosine from 2'-deoxyuridine or thymidine and adenine, adenosine or 5'-adenylic acid in the presence of inorganic phosphoric acid or its salt by the action of microorganisms, (3) produce 2'-deoxyguanosine from 2'- deoxyribose-1-phosphoric acid or its salt and guanine, guanosine or 5'-guanylic acid by the action of microorganisms and (4) produce 2'-deoxyguanosine from 2'-deoxyuridine or thymidine and guanine, guanosine or 5'-guanylic acid in the presence of inorganic phosphoric acid or its salt by the action of microorganisms. |
