PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ink from splashing into a recorder during blade cleaning without lowering the throughput of recording by setting the relative moving speed of a blade during wiping, blade cleaning and other operations at optimal values. SOLUTION: The relative moving speed of a blade 14 can be set at independent natural speeds for wiping the face of a discharge opening 13, cleaning the blade and other operations, respectively and is lowest for wiping, second lowest for blade cleaning and third lowest for other operations. |
