PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat-insulate an air cleaner from a cover to keep the air cleaner from being affected by engine heat by mounting the air cleaner above the engine, and covering the air cleaner with a fuel tank type cover for increased capacity. SOLUTION: An air cleaner 4 is mounted above an engine and is covered with a fuel tank type cover 5, and a heat insulating plate is bonded to the bottom surface of the air cleaner 4. The space between each side face of the air cleaner 4 and the inner surface of the cover 5 is closed by a heat protector 9 such as a rubber plate. The heat protector 9 is formed of a sponge-shaped filler.
