PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing image surface of a quality of a high identifiability between an image part and a non-image part without necessity of an alkali developer liquid by utilizing a phenomenon in which a specific metal oxide changes in hydrophilic property of a surface by emitting a light and a property in which the changed hydrophilic property is returned to an original by a heat treatment. SOLUTION: A thin layer made of single or a combination of two or more types of photocatalytic metal oxides made of RTiO3 , AB2x Cx D3x Ex O10 SnO2 , Bi2 O3 , and Fe2 O3 (wherein R is an alkali earth metal atom, A is a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom, C is a rare earth element atom, D is a group 5A metal atom, E is a group 4A metal atom, and x is a numeric value of 0 to 2) is provided as a photosensitive layer on a surface of a printing original plate. The method comprises the steps of conducting an image-like exposure by using an active light, generating an image-like hydrophilic part on the exposure surface, and then, bringing the surface into contact with a printing ink to form a printing surface for receiving the image area with the ink. Thus, a simple printing without necessity of executing an additional operation for enhancing sensitization properties. |
