PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anti-influenza viral agent scarcely having cytotoxicity, hardly causing nonspecific bond and having excellent resistance to nucleic acid- splitting enzyme by forming the subject chimera compound including a base sequence complementary to the base sequence within a specific region of an influenza virus gene into an in vivo administration form. SOLUTION: This anti-influenza viral agent contains a cyclic dumbbell-type RNA-DNA chimera compound including (A) a stem part including a DNA part containing a base sequence complementary to the base sequence of the target region including PBI gene of an influenza virus (including type A, type B, type C and a mutant thereof), PB2 gene, PA gene or translation-initiation codon AUG of NP gene, and an RNA part including the base sequence complementary to the base sequence of the DNA part, and forming a double chain formed out of the RNA part and the DNA part, and (B) two hairpin loop parts positioned at both terminus parts of the stem part as an active ingredient. |
