PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lens that is emulsified and sucked from blocking a discharge pipe in an ultrasonic operating device for treatment of cataract. SOLUTION: In a device wherein a tubular US tip 3 that emulsifies and sucks the nucleus 14b in the lens 14 of the eye ball 13 by ultrasonic vibration from an ultrasonic vibrator is fitted to the head of a US handpiece incorporating the ultrasonic vibrator, a concave or convex crushing guide that rotates and crushes fragments of the nucleus passing through the interior is formed or arranged spirally in the inside perimeter of the US tip 3. The crushing guide is a continuous groove. |
