<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve distance performance, a hitting feeling and spin performance by setting the ratio of compression values of a golf ball to the core, and the cover hardness to specified values, respectively. SOLUTION: The ratio of the compression value of a golf ball and to a compression value of the core is set to 1.2 or more and less than 1.5. If the ratio is less than the above value, repulsiveness becomes low, and if above, the ball is too hard so that a feeling of hitting a ball is deteriorated. Further, the hardness of the cover is set to Shore hardness of 62 or less. If it exceeds the value, spin performance is deteriorated. The cover is formed by a composition in which 10-50 parts by weight of diene rubber is dispersed in 50-90 parts by weight of ionomer resin with a particle diameter of 5μm or less. Thus, hitting feeling, repulsiveness and spin performance can be improved.</p> |
