<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work execution by providing a newel post having a handrail fit-in hole formed in the upper part in such shape as to be vertically enlarged toward the inner part, and a handrail fitted into the handrail fit-in hole of the newel post and vertically oscillated with the upper and lower opening edges of the handrail fit-in hole as fulcrums. SOLUTION: A stair handrail component 1 has a newel post 3 with a handrail fit-in hole 2 formed in the upper part in such shape as to be vertically enlarged toward the inner part, and a handrail 5 fitted into the handrail fit-in hole 2 of the newel post 3 and vertically oscillated with upper and lower opening edges 2a of the handrail fit-in hole as fulcrums. After the completion of work execution, the handrail 5 is fixed to the newel post 3 by a fixing means such as a screw, a nail or an adhesive. The inclination of the handrail 5 can be made to correspond to the stairs in a construction site without any machining and production in the construction site, and the handrail and the opening edges of the handrail fit-in hole are kept in close contact or almost in close contact, so that the handrail and the opening edges of the handrail fit-in hole are well- settled.</p> |
