PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently decompose pollutants by making a photocatalyst function even in the condition that a light is turned off and it becomes dark by applying a liquid containing the photocatalyst to both main surfaces of a sheet substrate containing a photo accumulating member and having through holes. SOLUTION: This functional sheet 100 for activating a photocatalyst is so formed as to decompose polluting substances, carry out disinfection, and prevent fogging and radiates illumination to the peripheral part for a prescribed period even in the case a light is turned off and it becomes dark. The sheet 100 is formed by applying a liquid containing the photocatalyst 3 to both main surfaces of a film sheet 1 containing a photo-accumulating member 2. The film sheet 1 is made of a light transmissive member and a prescribed amount of the photo- accumulating member 2 is added during the extrusion molding of the film sheet. Moreover, fine through holes 6 are formed in a matrix pattern in the film sheet 1. Consequently, when straight light rays coming from one side pass through the through holes 6, the light rays are transmitted as circular light rays to activate the photocatalyst 3 in the other side. |
