FOOD PRESERVATION VESSEL AND BAND PACKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food-preservation vessel enabling the preservation of a food over a long period without causing the drying and dew condensation troubles in the vessel even if stored in a cold place such as a refrigerator and usable in stacked state and provide a packing suitable for the sealing of the vessel. SOLUTION: This food preservation vessel is composed of a vessel 12 having an opening 16 at the top and a lid member 14 to openably close the opening 16. A moisture-permeation part 18 composed of a moisture-permeable membrane is used as a part of the lid member 14. A gap is formed on the moisture- permeation part 18 in stacked state and the vessels are engaged with each other with the protrusions and the recesses to prevent the lateral, sliding of the upper vessel. The vessel 12 has a uniaxially symmetrical cross section to allow the fixation of the moisture-permeable membrane to the lid member 14 by pinching the membrane with a pair of pinching members. A band packing having T-shaped or L-shaped cross section is used for the sealing of the vessel.
